I cannot claim to breed perfect stock (don't know of any breeder who can) and one cannot discount the impact of genetics in breeding. However, the effort I expend in my attempts to breed sound, healthy English Springer Spaniels is satisfied when I receive correspondence like the following: ...our little treasure is fine and has now become part of the family. She knows her place and has settled in very well. We have been taking her to puppy school and she is top dog in class. Every week she performs the tasks without any fuss and the teacher is quite impressed. One thing we are very pleased about is the comments from people about her temperament. She is friendly and outgoing with all people and other dogs which certainly makes her a joy to own. Obviously this is a trait with Springers from Tholia (the little treasureis Tholia Ciao Bella daughter of Ch Tholia Love Child and Grand Ch Alhambra Oliver Reed and is owned by the Sutton Family.)
